He received the School's highest honor bestowed to its alumni, the Distinguished Alumni Award, during the 2010 spring commencement ceremony on Sunday, May 9. OGBURN, ELECTED ACRL VICE PRESIDENT/PRESIDENT ELECT Joyce L. Ogburn, SILS alumna, university librarian and director of the University of Utah Marriott Library, has been elected vice-president/president-elect of the Association of College and Research Libraries (ACRL). The International Research & Exchanges Board (IREX) "is an international nonprofit organization providing leadership and innovative programs to improve the quality of education, strengthen independent media, and foster pluralistic civil society development," according to its Web site. Beginning this summer, Adam Rogers and L. Hill Taylor will start their two year term appointments as NCSU Libraries Fellows. Scott has been training for the 260 mile run that began at Ft.
