The Dalhousie School of Information Management (SIM) invites applications for a three-year term appointment at the Assistant Professor level commencing 1st July 2010.

The School offers two graduate programs and contributes to a collaboratively delivered undergraduate program. At the graduate level, SIM provides the American Library Association (ALA)-accredited Master of Library and Information Studies (MLIS) program and the mid-career external program Master of Information Management. At the undergraduate level, the School provides core and elective courses in the Bachelor of Management program, notably in the provision of the new Knowledge Management major. In addition, the School supports Dalhousie’s Interdisciplinary PhD program.

The School is part of the interdisciplinary Faculty of Management, with the Schools of Business Administration, Public Administration, Resource and Environmental Studies, and the Marine Affairs Program.
