I am wondering if there are any advantages *or* disadvantages to optimizing Windows XP TCP settings along the lines of those suggested in this article -- "Windows 2k/XP Registry Tweaks" ( http://www.speedguide.net/read_articles.php?id=157 ) or using their TCP Optimizer ( http://www.speedguide.net/downloads.php )? Is anyone doing something similar to these tweaks on your XP machines within your library? It did make a big difference on my PC / broadband connection at home, but I am not sure how well that translates to working in the library setting with so many more PCs, etc. Thanks.
