Be sure to attend:
SAA Student chapter's presentation on OCLC's CONTENTdm content management system by our own Sarah Shippy Copeland!
The event will be held Wednesday, April 21st, from 12:30 - 1:30 pm EDT via Centra. A 45-minute presentation will be followed by a short question and answer session.
Sarah Shippy Copeland is currently employed at the Cleveland State Community College Library, where one of her tasks is to provide technical support to the Southeast Tennessee Digital Archive (SETDA). Built using OCLC's CONTENTdm platform, this fledgling digital archive is a cooperative effort of many cultural institutions in southeast Tennessee. Sarah will give a brief presentation about the SETDA project, explain how Cleveland State is using CONTENTdm to manage digital collections, and discuss some of the practicalities of metadata design.
