Have you thought about doing a blog instead?  Is this meant to be an internal communication method?  We use a Wordpress template for a staff blog that is "supposed" to keep staff informed re: schedules, important announcements, events happening each day, who is here/not here, etc.  It works for the most part, but is only as good as the people who need to log in and look at it daily.  It is also a private blog so not viewable by just anyone on the Internet.

One of doctors in our hospital would like to setup a listserv.  He tried to use Google Group service.  The problem is that as a health organization, we have very strict rules in filtering emails.  Messages from Google group or Yahoo group are blocked by our hospital IT.  Is there any alternative way to setup a listserv without using the hospital resource and not being blocked by the filter?  Thanks!
