We have a roaming profile for the JAWS machine with all that stuff
pre-done. :) Sounds like I won't have to make any changes other than
uninstalling the current program and tossing on DF. :) We're going to
build a test lab. :)

Thank you all for your stories - it is very much appreciated! :-)

We also are running JAWS on some of our public machines with DeepFreeze,
and haven't had issues. Mr. Guilford's comments are correct, though -
to avoid users having to configure software or answer registration
questions, we pre-configure the default user profile so that JAWS and
ZoomText and everything else are already set up the way we want them
before the machines are frozen.

We have several installations of JAWS and DeepFreeze doesn't interfere
with them. DeepFreeze doesn't seem to have any negative effects on any
software I can think of providing permanent changes are not required for
routine operation of that software. Even then, as you've read, a
"thawed" drive can be created where permanent changes are allowed.

DeepFreeze is so transparent to OS operations that, should you forget to
thaw your Program Files drive as Administrator, you could run through a
program installation successfully only to find your work wiped clean on
system restart!

Do any of you have Deep Freeze running with JAWS? Does it work? :-) What
about Kurzweil 3000?
