Museums and Libraries to Be Informed of Important Issues Faster and More Frequently Washington, DC-The Institute of Museum and Library Services is launching a new Twitter feed at www.Twitter.com/US_IMLS. This social media tool, one of several that IMLS uses, will be a source for information about grant announcements, best practices, and other time-sensitive information. "Through social media, the public is able to use IMLS content and to be in conversation with the agency in new ways. The launch of our Twitter feed is an important step toward more transparent and accessible government," said Marsha Semmel, IMLS Acting Director.
