Bernie Sloan mentioned tracking clicks to his links that use URL
shorteners.

re: bit.ly    -- do you inform your web site visitors that you are tracking
information about their visits to your links?

What sort of information do you track  using link shorteners such as bit.ly?
you might find this of some interest in terms of the negatives on using link
shorteners
and problems it can cause other people.
