Mobile Learning 2.0: On the Horizon

In early March, members of the UT community attended the online
Educause/ELI 2010 Spring Focus Session “Mobile Learning 2.0: the Next
Phase of Innovation in Mobility,” hosted locally by the UT Libraries,
and attended by hundreds of Educause and ELI members from across the
country and around the world. Seventeen sessions over the course of
this two-day event highlighted mobile learning projects, initiatives,
and development activities currently underway in colleges and
universities across the United States, and explored the emerging
trends and likely development path of mobile technologies and mobile
learning opportunities in the coming decade.
