Dear Freight and Transportation Researchers: 

The National Center for Freight and Infrastructure Research and Education
(CFIRE) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, is seeking peer reviewers
for the proposals received in response to a grant year 4 Call for Proposals.
CFIRE's thematic area is Sustainable Freight Transportation Infrastructure
and Systems. Research is conducted in the following four Signature Technical
Areas of Research, or STARs:

*	Design, Materials, and Construction Processes for Highway, Harbor,
and Rail Infrastructure
*	Multimodal Systems Planning and Optimization
*	Traffic Operations and Safety
*	Energy and Environment

Attached, please find proposal numbers and titles of the 29 proposals CFIRE
received to the grant year 4 call. If you or anyone you know are qualified
and interested in reviewing proposals, please respond by emailing Greg
Waidley, CFIRE's Research and Education Coordinator, by Monday, April 19th.

 

Please include the following information in your reply:

*	Full name of reviewer
*	Reviewer's title
*	Organization/affiliation
*	Phone number
*	Email address
*	ID number(s) of proposal(s) he or she is willing to review

As I receive the necessary information, I will send the reviewer the full
proposal (proposals vary in length but the problem background, methodology,
task list, etc. is no more than about 10 pages) and a link to our online
proposal review form. Reviews are due by May 17th.
