Work Description: Uses CADD
software to graphically place utility information into a geographic information
system (GIS). Assists with utility records research and problem resolution.
Assists with preparation of utility designs, drawings, installation plans, and
special sketches. Must be flexible in performing daily tasks and accepting
additional duties as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
· Must be a full-time student of an
accredited college or university and maintain active student status
·
Must be pursuing an Associates, Bachelors, or a graduate-level degree in GIS,
Geography, or related field
· Has and maintains a grade point
average (GPA) of 2.5 or higher
· Must have and maintain valid driver's
license
· Must possess basic computer skills
(MS Office, computer drafting software (Microstation and/or AutoCad)
and, geographical
information systems (Intergraph and/or ESRI)
· Must be available to work a
minimum of 15 hours per week
· Good oral and written
communication
Physical Demands: Sedentary
Work: exerting up to 20 pounds of force occasionally-and/or a negligible amount
of force frequently-to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects.
Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time, but may involve bending,
stooping, reaching, walking or standing for brief periods of time.
