ASIS&T Student Chapter is hosting two "Technology Talk" presentations in April.  These presentations are open to everyone.  We hope to see you there!

April 6th, 12-1PM Eastern, location TBA/Centra: David Ratledge and Teresa Walker from Hodges Library will tell us about the implementation of UT Libraries Mobile.  They will discuss the technologies and the design process behind their efforts to make UT Libraries' collections and services available on your smart phone or handheld device.  Click here for more information on connecting to the UT Libraries on your phone.  Attend the presentation to learn how they did it!

April 20th, 3:30-4:30 Eastern, location TBA/Centra: Dr. Suzie Allard and Dr. Carol Tenopir will explain the technologies and processes underlying  DataONE (Data Observation Network for Earth.)  Come learn about this innovative "distributed framework and sustainable cyberinfrastructure" for the environmental sciences.  Drs. Allard and Tenopir are on the DataONE Leadership Team, and they will help us to understand the vision and scope of DataONE, as well as how it works.
