“New Foundations:  Building an Inquiry-based Information Literacy Agenda”

Presented by Dr. Ross Todd, associate professor at the Rutgers University School of Communication, Information, & Library Studies and Director of the Center for International Scholarship in School Libraries

Open to all who are interested in information literacy

A networking dinner and tour of the LearnLab™ at the Management and Economics Library at Purdue will be held May 13.

Presentations on May 14 will include:

·         The Role of Information Literacy in Agriculture by Elizabeth Berman, University of Vermont Libraries

·         Report on the Health Literacy Journalism Fellowship at the National Library of Medicine by Shari Rudafsky, Health Reporter, Indianapolis Star and NLM Health Journalism Fellow

·         What is Lifelong Learning? by Michael Fosmire, Purdue University Libraries

·         Health Literacy by Bart Collins, Jacob Jensen, Purdue Regenstrief Center for Healthcare Engineering
