Dear faculty and students,


The 14th Annual Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EURECA) will be held on March 24 and March 25 in the University Center Ballroom. 

Two Geography undergraduate majors, Niki Garland and Sarah Jones, will present posters.  Both students are sponsored by Henri Grissino-Mayer and both are working on projects in our Laboratory of Tree-Ring Science. 

Please attend and support Niki and Sarah!

The posters will be open for viewing from 9:00 to 7:00 on Thursday, March 25.  An awards ceremony will take place at 6:00 pm. on March 25.

EUReCA General Information


The Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement (EUReCA) is an annual event that showcases research and creative activities by currently enrolled undergraduate students in collaboration with a University of Tennessee, Knoxville faculty mentor. Entries can be individual or group projects and are judged by a combination of UT Knoxville faculty members and community professionals.

The UT Knoxville Office of Research coordinates this unique competition to encourage, support and reward undergraduate participation in the campus research enterprise. An added value is the development of faculty mentoring relationships.


Dates and Locations


The 14th Annual Exhibition of Undergraduate Research and Creative Achievement will held March 24 and 25, 2010 in the University Center Ballroom. Participants will set up their presentations between noon and 4:00 p.m. on March 24th. Judging will begin at 5:30 p.m. All participants must be present during the entire judging period.

On March 25th, the event is open to the public from 9:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. An awards ceremony will be held in the University Center's Tennessee Auditorium on March 25th at 6:00 p.m.
