Hey guys, here is the update for this week...
Sat 2/27- We will not be doing the trail maintinence at the OBED, apparently they have enough volunteers. We have another community service planned this day at IJAMS park in Knoxville. we will meet at 9:30 in lot 66 and from there we will head over to the park. We will be doing basic maintinence on trails.
Sun 2/28 - We have adopt a stream in Tyson Park. We will be meeting to pick up garbage around the creek area. Anyone interested is to meet at 11:00 am at Tyson Park.
Also, Sunday evening we have a full moon bike ride planned at Cades Cove. It looks like the weather is not going to cooperate, so we were talking about going skiing at Sugar mountian for the night session. Lift tickets are 23$ and it is a 3 hour drive, so we will need to leave by 3 at the latest. If you wouuld like to, just get back to me. We will be meeting in lot 66 at 2:30. Please note, if we go to Sugar mountain we will be getting back around 1:00 am monday mornign.
3/10-3/14 - Ross is putting together a surf trip to south carolina over spring break. The trip will be a club trip, so we can get camping equipment, but we can't get the gas and campgrouund payed for. We will be camping at Hunting Island state park, hopefully on the beach.
