ASCLA: "Breaking Down Barriers: Best Practices in Universal Design for Libraries" What it covers: How to create a library that is not only physically accessible to all library patrons, but also takes into account accessible communication and information tools available to libraries. Best practices, advice for your library's specific accessibility challenge and how to account for accessibility in strategic and long-range planning will be discussed. Who should attend: Library leaders, library friends and any librarians or staff from all types of libraries looking to improve the accessibility their library in both the short and long term.
