Greetings to all interested in school library media programming at the ALISE conference.
Please note that the SLMSIG meeting will be on Thursday, Jan. 14, 7:30-8:30 am then hang around for the 8:30 session for the SLMSIG program: “Cultural Competence in School Librarianship” with panelists: Patricia Montiel Overall (Arizona); Robin A Moeller (Indiana); Tom Adamich (Mitinet, Inc.), and Barbara Schultz-Jones (North Texas).
Don't forget the Birds of a Feather meeting with the Youth Services SIG at noon on Wednesday.
If you can, stick around on Friday afternoon for the ALA Committee on Education/ALISE Forum on Education: "Learning Outcomes: Methodologies for Connecting Communities" with panelists:
