Third time's a charm. The company where I work, Integrated Solutions & Services, is seeking a research associate. This position was originally posted with the work location to be in Oak Ridge, TN. That has changed. This position will now sit in downtown Knoxville, TN on Gay Street. The salary starts at $45-50K DOE. Thanks, Michele Integrated Solutions & Services, Inc. is currently seeking a candidate to provide research services. Work will be performed in downtown Knoxville. Major duties include: Analyze scientific research proposals, progress reports, and technical documents to understand content, determine relevant information, and identify key descriptors. Identify scientific subject experts and evaluate their credentials. Organize information for retrieval. Provide reference/research as requested. The right candidate will have a degree in Library/Information Sciences and either a science degree or several years reference/research support in a science field. Fields of particular interest include energy, engineering and environmental or earth sciences, but will consider others. Advanced Internet searching skills. Excellent writing skills. Proficiency in MS Excel. MS SharePoint a plus.
