SIS Alumni & Friends Day to Explore “Information Seekers in the 21st Century"

The University of Tennessee School of Information Sciences is pleased to announce this year's Alumni and Friends Day on March 27 from 1-4 pm at the James D. Hoskins Library.  Dr. Carol Tenopir will present the keynote talk and will discuss information seeking and use of scholarly articles.  Alumni speakers will explore the topic of Information Seekers in the 21st Century from a variety of perspectives.

The SIS Alumni Board encourages alumni to submit presentation and poster session proposals related to the theme of "Information Seekers in the 21st Century" to participate in this program. SIS students are invited to submit poster session proposals. Proposals may be submitted at  http://spreadsheets.google.com/viewform?hl=en&formkey=dDRzRWhUT2k5bTU4Z0cxTlhVYnJzOVE6MA by February 1, 2010. All presenters will be notified by February 15th.

This event is free and open to the public. The SIS Alumni Board encourages all alumni and friends to come out for this very promising afternoon.
