Upcoming Event Category : Systems and Applications Message : On Saturday morning, October 16 between 8:00 am and 11:00 am, the OIT central NFS file server will be unavailable due to switch maintenance. The fiber channel switch to which this file server is attached is no longer being supported by the vendor. This outage is to move the file server to a supported switch. This NFS server provides disk space and home areas for OIT UNIX-based websites. All http://web.utk.edu/~username sites and all virtually hosted web sites on babel.usg.utk.edu will be unreachable during this outage. In addition, login and (s)ftp access to unix.cas.utk.edu (larry and moe), volspace and accounts.utk.edu will be affected.
