Category : Systems and Applications Level : green Message : On Saturday night, 10/9/2010, between 11:59pm - 8am, OIT will be performing maintenance, one at a time, on the LDAP directory servers on the Knoxville campus. This outage should have no effect on normal mail routing and authentication functions. Blackboard, SMTP, CPO, etc., should continue to work. All other NetID authentication and authorization functions should continue to work as long as applications are connecting to ldap.utk.edu and have not explicitly hard-coded a specific LDAP server by name. For the 1st hour of the maintenance window, the master LDAP server will be down. During this time, password changes and other NetID modifications will not be possible.
