Category : Systems and Applications Level : yellow Message : OIT will be repairing the Uninterruptable Power Supply (UPS) in the SMC machine room starting Saturday, February 20, 2010 at 10pm through noon Sunday, February 21, 2010. This is a preemptive move to correct a problem with the UPS before it becomes fatal. During this preempt period, the SMC machine room will be running on generator power, and many IT services will still be available. However, all databases, and other services that depend on a database, will be unavailable during this time. Exchange (TMail), CPO, and IRIS are some of the services that will be down during this outage. UT Alerts will remain available, as well as OCS. OIT apologizes for any inconvenience this outage may cause.
