Message : In recent months, OIT has investigated solutions for users who routinely  get locked out after changing their password.  To address these issues, we will be modifying the password policy for the UTK Active Directory.  Password history will be enabled and set to remember the previous 2 user passwords.    Your password history will be updated when your password is changed.  Once the history has been populated, users should not experience the lockout problem when changing their password.  This new policy will be implemented on September 2nd, 2010 at 10:30am.  If you have any questions about the new policy, please contact the OIT HelpDesk.
