Category : Email Level : green Message : OIT recently received reports from users who were unable to read Rich Text Formatted (RTF) emails from students on the new Volmail system. OIT system administrators have worked with Outlook.com engineers to address the problem. OIT will perform maintenance on the Volmail system starting today at 2:00 PM. Once the maintenance is complete, RTF messages sent through Volmail will be converted into HTML for compatibility with email systems that cannot process this method of encoding RTF mail. Volmail users should not notice any change to the system.
