Integrated Solutions and Services (ISS), my employer, is
hiring its third research associate. We are seeking a candidate to provide
research services. Work will be performed in Oak Ridge, TN. Major duties
include:
Analyze scientific research proposals, progress reports, and
technical documents to understand content, determine relevant information,
and identify key descriptors. Identify scientific subject experts and
evaluate their credentials. Organize information for retrieval. Provide
reference/research as requested.
The right candidate will have a degree in
Library/Information Sciences and either a science degree or several years
reference/research support in a science field. Fields of particular interest
include energy, engineering, and environment/earth. Advanced Internet
searching skills. Excellent writing skills. Proficiency in MS Excel & SharePoint.
