Roane State Community College is a multi-campus comprehensive community
college serving an eight-county area in East Tennessee.  Qualified
applicants, including current employees, must apply for and submit a new
application and resume (if required) for each position opening.

DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:


*	Provides patron assistance at circulation desk, on phone and by
email
*	Maintains serials collection by receiving issues; claiming
non-received issues; processing and shelving issues; and organizing
shelves
*	Maintains reserve reading collections
*	Works at least one night a week and occasional Saturdays in
rotation with other library staff
*	Occasional work at other campuses may be required


QUALIFICATIONS:


*	Attention to detail
*	Effective interpersonal, customer service and problem resolution
skills
*	Effective verbal and written communication skills
*	Proficiency with work processing, spreadsheets and internet
searching
*	Experience with bibliographic database searching preferred
*	Two years of college and one year of relevant experience
preferred
