This position is responsible for ensuring that all library materials are organized according to recognized library practices, that the integrated library system performs properly, and that needed library materials are borrowed and loaned to other libraries.

 

Requirements for this position are:

M.L.S. or equivalent degree preferably from an institution accredited by the American Library Association;

Experience with integrated library systems, preferably Innovative Interfaces, Inc. Millennium and OCLC;

Computer skills, including Microsoft Office;

Knowledge of current trends in cataloging and library-related technology applications;

Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills; Ability to work well as part of a team;

and Excellent customer service skills.
