Library: Instructional Services Librarian. Hiwassee College’s Hardwick- Johnston Memorial Library seeks an Instructional Services Librarian, a continuing, non-tenure-track position with faculty rank and status. This position includes developing and maintaining of the library's webpage, creation of online tutorials, particularly with regard to enhancement and supplementation of classroom instruction. Candidates should be knowledgeable in web design, current trends in library instruction, educational technology and information literacy. As part of the library faculty, this position also contributes to traditional reference service, collection liaison, student supervision, and other duties. Required qualifications: ALA-accredited Master's degree; reference and instruction experience in an academic library; knowledge of instructional design, technology, and Web tools; proven initiative and self-direction; exemplary communication skills; and the ability to work with a diverse body of students, faculty, library colleagues, and visitors. Must be willing to work night and weekend hours. Salary: commensurate with qualifications and experience.
