Theology, Religion, and Philosophy Librarian The Theology, Religion, and Philosophy Librarian will provide reference and research assistance for clients (including scheduled night and weekend work); serve as a liaison to assigned academic units; participate in collection development for assigned academic units; provide instruction on research methods and use of library resources; develop print and web-based reference tools; support and enhance faculty use of course management software; represent Baylor at regional and national conferences and meetings; attend and participate in departmental and curriculum meetings as requested by Religion, Philosophy, or Truett Theological Seminary; meet University expectations for scholarship and service; serve on library and University committees as appointed or elected. Applicants should possess a Master's degree in library or information science from an ALA-accredited program and an academic background in religion, theological studies, philosophy or a related discipline OR a graduate degree in religion, theological studies, philosophy or a related discipline and extensive work experience in an academic or theological library; demonstrated ability to communicate and work effectively in an academic setting; demonstrated skill using online and print reference resources; and experience in a reference or other library public service setting.
