We have recently
redesigned our Archivist and Digital Collections Librarian position and are
actively seeking a candidate for this position who has a good understanding of
both traditional library archives and the new directions in digital archiving.
We would like to offer this position to someone with a background or interest
in the sciences, engineering or computers. We see this position as offering the
right candidate the opportunity to take part in or direct several new and
challenging archive initiatives at our institution, including populating an IR,
producing oral histories for both our organization and the American
Meteorological Society, and producing web based finding aides.
