Library Supervisor I - UT Libraries,
Pendergrass Agriculture & Veterinary Medicine Library - Level
36 - 2nd Shift Differential (evenings); Sunday –
Thursday; hours vary during semester breaks depending on library schedule.
Solely responsible for library 29 hours a week. Required:
Bachelor’s degree; demonstrated experience with
computers; experience in service to the public; excellent communication,
critical thinking and problem-solving skills; willingness
to work independently and make decisions. Must take or audit SIS
530, Information Access and Retrieval. Preferred: One year full-time
library experience or two years work experience involving teaching or
interaction with the public; courses or experience in computer or
information science; experience with Windows-based computers and software
including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Access, and Power Point);
expertise with graphic design software such as Acrobat, Photoshop, PageMaker,
Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash.
