IBRARIAN II - YOUTH SERVICES - Position #841. Full-Time Regular, exempt position; $41,973/year, or higher DOQ; full benefits. Job is located in both James City County Library and Williamsburg Library buildings and at selected outreach sites; includes some evenings and weekends. Seeking individual with excellent communication, research, computer, and customer service skills to provide information and readers' advisory services; and to coordinate services to elementary and middle school-age youth. Other duties include collection development and maintenance; supporting and presenting general library programs; promoting reading for all youth and their families; promoting library services to the community; and working at public service desks. REQUIRED: ALA-accredited MLS required. Public library experience working with youth, particularly those in the elementary and middle school-age group, is highly desirable.
