Requirements:
Successful
experience or training in library user education and/or instructional
technology; successful experience in the use of traditional and electronic
reference sources in an academic library; effective written and oral skills.
Preference will be given to the candidates with reference desk
experience in an academic library; successful teaching experience, experience
with course management software, experience or training in the use of Web
authoring tools and desktop publishing software. Participates in night and
weekend reference (rotation), library teams and other professional/scholarly
activities in keeping with faculty guidelines.

Duties:
Coordination of Library
instruction includes being the primary instructor of library instruction
classes. Schedules instructional sessions; plans and schedules workshops with
other librarians. Develops expertise in assigned subject areas and maintains
current awareness of new reference initiatives. Basic reference service from a
general reference desk. Collection development in one or more subject areas.

Minimum salary of $42,000,
dependent on qualifications and experience.
