LAC seeks a Library Clerk for a long term project in Rockville, Maryland that will last approximately 2 1/2 years. The Clerk will process print and non-print cataloged library materials, print and affix spine labels, apply barcodes; prepare statistics; monitor inventory and other end duties as required. This individual also trains as the back-up to the Inter-Library Loan position.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED;
• Previous experience working in a library technical services environment;
• Previous experience in data entry,
• Excellent typing skills – 50 WPM;
• Excellent organizational skills
• Detail oriented;
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team;
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and priorities;
• Position entails regular lifting of heavy library materials (up to 40lbs) on a regular basis;
• Experience with an integrated library system, preferably Endeavor Voyager, preferred;
