Qualifications: Requires a Master's degree in Library or Information Sciences from an ALA accredited college or university Must have previous management or supervisory responsibilities in a library environment with multiple service points or departments Must have experience using online library systems and electronic resources Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills Must be committed to providing quality library services and work in a collaborative team environment Must be available for day, evening and Saturday shifts and be able to travel to instructional sites throughout Wake County Prefer experience with multiple locations, development of resources and instructional techniques. Duties: Position will provide direction and guidance for the Wake Tech Libraries as an organization, and supervise and manage staff, programs and facilities, including services and programs designed for distance learning, curriculum and non-curriculum activities.
