LIBRARY MANAGER- MAUMELLE LIBRARY - The Central Arkansas Library System is seeking a manager for the Maumelle Library. Candidates must possess strong customer service skills and an enthusiasm for working with people of all ages and backgrounds. Responsibilities include administering day-to-day library operations; training, supervision, and evaluation of staff; programming for children and adults; electronic information services; and outreach to the community. Position requires supervisory, leadership, and project management ability to supervise the operation of a busy community library in a rapidly growing area. Progressive and service-oriented approach to adopting new technologies essential. An ALA-accredited MLS, or substantial work toward an MLS, and prior library experience are required. Schedule will include some nights and weekends. Salary negotiable from $35,824 plus excellent benefits.
