Hi, all. My company is considering launching a Spanish-language Web site, and we need to identify a strong translator with demonstrated experience in the professional services sector. Specific qualifications are listed below, and I’m wondering if any of you have direct experience with anyone who might be a good candidate.

They do not have to be local (or even domestic); in fact, we think we might find our best prospects in the NY, DC or Miami area. If you know anyone who you would recommend, I’m all ears!

Qualifications:

Experience in translating specifically for professional services firms (consulting firms, legal firms)
Native Spanish speaker with mutli-dialect capability, i.e., understands that certain words work well in Puerto Rico but not in Colombia
Experience in translating technology-related vocabulary
Experience in translating text specifically designed for Web sites
Detail-oriented/precise
Team player with the ability to work in a highly collaborative environment on tight deadlines
Able to provide references and portfolio
Thanks in advance,
Alesa

p.s. We are also looking for a German translator – same qualities as above.
