doctorate or be near completion of an earned doctorate in Library and
Information Studies or related field and demonstrate a record of or potential
for productive scholarship. Experience
with online teaching is preferred.

Program description: The School of Library and Information Studies
at Texas Woman’s University offers the oldest continuously-accredited
Master’s degree program in the Southwest.
In addition, the School offers several other graduate programs,
including the Ph.D. in Library and Information Studies, a dual Master’s
in Health Studies and Library Science, and preparation for certification in
School Librarianship. The Master’s
degree program is delivered almost exclusively online to a diverse student body
in every region of the country and abroad.
