Information Officer Corporate Partnership Unit £21,684 to £29,139 per annum
As part of the Business Development Group within Coventry University the Corporate Partnership Unit works to engage, develop and co-ordinate external relationships with partners at the Group level. The Unit operates at the corporate level for all the faculties, schools and services of the University and for Coventry University Enterprises Limited.
The recent approval of a Partnership Development Strategy and Model by the Vice-Chancellor's Group warrants the new post of Information Officer within the Unit. The role involves supporting other members of the CPU and the wider Business Development Group in the development of strategic partnerships with companies and public bodies for the University.
The post-holder will offer support through literature searches, business research, data scanning and administering the customer relationship management system (CARE). In addition to those primary duties he or she will also occasionally represent the University to partners at external events and may organise infrequent high-profile visits to the University.
Applicants should have a degree or equivalent in Library / Information Science or a comparable topic. Experience of carrying out business research (using desk and electronic resources) is vital in the role, as is an understanding of the issues and opportunities of knowledge management.
The appointment will be made on a 12 months rolling contract
