Applications are invited for the post of Institutional Repository Assistant. The University's Institutional Repository is being created to bring together in electronic format the intellectual output of the institution. Duties of this post include development of the Repository's website, maintenance of documentation, monitoring of usage, inputting of resources and liaison with researchers.
The successful applicant will have an academic or vocational qualification equivalent to NVQ 3, or equivalent work experience in a similar environment. You must have good IT skills and experience of working with IT systems. Knowledge of web
technologies, HTML, XHTML and XML, and web authoring are also required. You should also be able to work both independently and as part of a team and be able to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
Salary
£19,264 - £21,682 p.a.
