This librarian will provide creative and innovative user services in the library's highly collaborative environment and serve as liaison to an important multidisciplinary education and research community at UT's Institute of Agriculture. Responsibilities emphasize outreach to students and faculty through consultation and instruction. Management of a $300,000 collections budget is required. This is a tenure track position, with the requisite requirements of research and service. Appointment at rank of Assistant Professor. Minimum salary is $42,000. Required qualifications: ALA-accredited master's. Demonstrable service orientation and understanding of library services in a research university. Experience or coursework in bibliography and reference services. Knowledge of scientific literature and publishing trends. Commitment to promoting information literacy.
