Director of Lourdes Library -- Gwynedd-Mercy College -- Pennsylvania
Gwynedd-Mercy College seeks a visionary, innovative and experienced
Librarian for the position of Director of Lourdes Library. The Director
reports to the Vice President for Academic Affairs.
The Director of the Library is responsible for the administration and
leadership of the Library. The successful candidate will be a creative
and dynamic leader able to build upon the Library's reputation for
excellent service while advancing a vision to meet the changing needs of
students, faculty and staff.
This person will also demonstrate a deep understanding of academic life in
all of its many dimensions; the ability to work collaboratively with a
variety of campus constituencies and be an energetic spokesperson for the
Library.
Qualifications: Masters degree in Library Sciences from an ALA
accredited institution; strong interpersonal skills; experience in budget
development and implementation; demonstrated understanding of the role of
technology in the library and a successful record of progressively
responsible administrative positions in academic libraries.
