Campus Librarian (2 Positions) --  Community College of Baltimore County
-- Maryland
 
Campus Librarian (2 positions) (Vacancy # 2007049) 
Responsibilities: Under the supervision of the CCBC Director of Library
Services, the Campus Librarian is responsible for coordinating campus
library services, including reference, circulation, reserves, and selected
system areas of responsibility. Supervises campus librarians, classified
staff, and part-time staff. Shares general professional responsibilities
of reference, library instruction, and collection development with other
librarians. Responsible for day-to-day operations and maintenance of
physical facility. Qualifications and Requirements: MLS degree from an
ALA-accredited institution. Minimum of 3-5 years progressively responsible
administrative experience in an academic environment. Supervisory
experience. Demonstrated knowledge of information literacy standards.
Expertise with library research tools and instruction. Excellent
organizational, analytical, interpersonal, communication and presentation
skills. Preferred: community college experience; working with faculty to
integrate information literacy into curriculum; strong library automation
and computer technology skills. Salary: Commensurate with experience. Full
