Dean, Learning Resources & Instructional Technology --  Westmoreland
County Community College -- Pennsylvania
 
DEANLearning Resources & Instructional Technology
Westmoreland County Community College, a two-year public college, is
located in Youngwood, Pennsylvania which is 30 miles east of Pittsburgh.
In addition to the Youngwood Campus, the College has seven education
centers located in Westmoreland, Indiana Greene and Fayette Counties. The
college offers 57 credit programs leading to the associate in arts and
associate in applied science degrees, along with 11 diploma and 39
certificate programs with an enrollment of approximately 6,000
students.Westmoreland County Community College is seeking a qualified
full-time Dean for Learning Resources & Instructional Technology. The Dean
for Learning Resources and Instructional Technology provides leadership and
management of the Learning Resources (which includes Library Services), and
Instructional Technology Support areas to enhance student learning and
assist students to achieve their educational goals. Requires master's
degree in Library or Information Sciences, doctorate preferred; min. of 5
yrs of work related experience in higher education, preferably in a
community college; competence as a master teacher; possess a sound
understanding of the management process to effectively plan, implement,
direct, motivate and evaluate programs and personnel; prior supervisory
experience; knowledge of microcomputers and instructional technology. An
excellent benefits package and a salary range of $61,400-$69,400 applies.
