Grant Miller Library. Founded in 1781 and located about 30 miles south of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Washington & Jefferson College is a coed, four-year, private liberal arts college with an enrollment of 1500 students. Dedicated to developing students one at a time, all classes are taught by master teachers who are caring mentors and advisors, and opportunities abound for internships, study-abroad programs, student activities, athletics, and volunteer service. The Director is responsible for planning, implementing, supervising, and evaluating library operations, collection development, developing with the library staff and campus community a compelling vision for the library's future, and coordinating the work of the library with the learning activities of the rest of campus.
