We hope you will consider joining us and our strong commitment to students. Graduate Program Director:For new Nursing Master's Program for Clinical Nurse Leader (CNL). Academic administration of new program, and curriculum development. Generalist with emphasis on clinical leadership for patient care. Specialization in patient outcomes measurement, risk analysis and quality improvement, and/or health policy preferred. Doctorate in Nursing, current Massachusetts RN license and teaching experience required. Begins 9/08 or earlier.Library: Technical Services Librarian: Systems/Cataloging. Full-time, 12-month faculty position. Develop Library's technical systems including Innovative Interfaces (III), web-based services, and assistive technology. Additional duties in cataloging and archive systems; some reference.MLS required.Biology: Teach a mix of introductory and upper level biology courses with lab instruction to biology majors, nursing students, and to non-majors as part of the Liberal Arts requirement. Develop curriculum with other Biology faculty; initiate activities to recruit and attract new majors. Requires Ph.D. in the discipline.Nursing: Several Nursing faculty positions available. Classroom teaching, clinical supervision, and curriculum development in traditional, accelerated second degree, RN-BS program, and new M.S.N. program. Specialization or interest in medical surgical or pediatrics preferred. Requires Master's degree in Nursing. Doctorate expected.Psychology: Clinical psychologist with specialization in Forensic Psychology to teach introductory level Psychology courses and to develop and teach upper level courses in Forensic Psychology.Contribute to curricular activities including possible development of a Master's program. Ability to develop field placements. Ph.D. required.Chemistry: Teach courses and labs in all fields of undergraduate chemistry including Introductory, Organic and Analytical Chemistry to other science majors, nursing students and non-majors. Teach courses in undergraduate teacher preparation, child development and related curriculum. Requires doctorate in Early Childhood Education or related field; three years teaching experience with PreK-2nd Gr.; eligibility for MA state teacher license in ECE.English: Generalist to teach a variety of English courses (African-American and/or 18th Century literature preferred). Participate in department curriculum development projects. College teaching experience preferred. Ph.D. in English required.First-Year Seminar (FYS) Director:Oversee all aspects of the First Year Seminar program: articulate vision, recruit and train and lead faculty.
