We are one of only two doctoral degree-granting institutions in the multi-campus UW system, with a student enrollment of over 28,000.Our School of Information Studies (SOIS) has a large, diverse, international faculty and is among the top 10 LIS programs in the country for research productivity. With more than 25 full-time faculty and teaching academic staff, and more than 700 students, SOIS offers several educational programs: a BS in Information Resources, an ALA-accredited MLIS, a Certifi cate of Advanced Study in Archives and Records Administration, a multidisciplinary doctorate, and, effective in the Fall of 2008, a Ph.D. in Information Studies.We now have three full-time, tenure-track positions at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor levels.Information Resources EmphasisThe successful candidate will teach undergraduate courses onsite and online, and conduct research in areas related to information technology, information security, information architecture, and Web design/development.
