Systems Librarian -- Davidson College -- North Carolina
Library: Davidson College, a highly selective, private, liberal arts
college that is ranked in the top 10 liberal arts colleges nationwide by
US News & World Report, seeks a Systems Librarian to be an integral part
of teaching and learning. In addition to leading the library's
information technology development, you'll be helping students at the
reference desk, administering the ILS, and participating in library
planning and direction setting. Located in historic, charming Davidson,
North Carolina, 19 miles north of Charlotte, the college enjoys an ideal
location two hours from the mountains and four hours from the ocean.
Duties include administration of ILS and other library applications,
reports, troubleshooting, collaboration with campus IT professionals,
oversight of Web presence, and anticipation of future needs and trends.
