Assistant Librarian -- Colorado School of Mines -- Colorado
Colorado School of Mines Arthur Lakes Library Assistant Librarian
Colorado School of Mines' Arthur Lakes Library invites applications for
the administrative faculty position of Acquisitions/Collection Development
Librarian. This position manages acquisitions and collection development
needs of the Library in a digital and print environment. Required are a
Master's degree in library science from an ALA accredited school (or
equivalent) and experience in acquisitions or collection development. We
value a strong public service orientation, adaptability in a changing
environment, and good communication and teamwork skills. Prior supervisory
experience is required. Preference will be given to applicants with:
academic library experience; knowledge of the information marketplace and
scholarly communications issues; experience in electronic resource
management; and knowledge of automated library systems. For a complete job
