The coordinator provides leadership and supervises up to 12 FTE faculty and 1-2 FTE state classified staff who are the primary liaisons between the libraries and the university colleges and departments. Reporting to the Assistant Dean for Scholarly Communications, the responsibilities of the position include management of faculty and staff; assessment and evaluation of services; collaboration with other library units and campus departments to promote digital repositories, market library services, provide collections and reference/research assistance, and identify opportunities for innovative library partnerships and outreach; staffing subject discipline assignments; participation in library assessment activities for users services; and promotion of campus awareness of scholarly communication issues. The successful candidate will be a strong advocate for user services, possess excellent oral and written communication skills and have abilities to work effectively in a changing and dynamic environment.
